Rendlesham Forest UFO - A Retrospective
In December 1980 a UFO landed in Rendlesham Forest, next to the twin bases RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge. Most of the witnesses were United States Air Force personnel. Nick Pope used to run the British Government's UFO Project and re-opened the investigation into the UK's most compelling UFO incident. In his presentation, he will lift the lid on previously undisclosed information about the case: the mistakes that were made; the diplomatic timebomb that the UFO incident threatened to detonate; the unanswered questions about the photographs taken of the UFO. The Rendlesham Forest UFO incident has been described as 'Britain's Roswell'. This presentation will show why this case is bigger than Roswell, and may just be the most significant UFO incident ever to have occurred.
